About the eHajj System

The eHajj System is a proposed digital platform designed to modernize, streamline, and strengthen the overall management of the Philippine Hajj program. This demonstration portal presents a conceptual view of how technology can support transparency, efficiency, and accountability in Hajj administration.

Background & Purpose

The Hajj is one of the most important spiritual obligations in Islam, and the administration of this sacred journey requires careful planning, coordination, and ethical governance. Traditionally, the Hajj registration and processing systems have depended heavily on manual documentation and fragmented workflows.

The eHajj System is envisioned as a unified, secure, and transparent digital solution that allows the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), its Bureau of Pilgrimage and Endowment (BPE), and regional Hajj Registration and Preparation Committees (HRPCs) to better serve Filipino pilgrims.

System Objectives

For Pilgrims

To provide an accessible online platform where pilgrims can register, update their information, and monitor the progress of their application from submission to final approval.

For HRPC Offices

To enable regional committees to efficiently validate, manage, and track the data of applicants in a standardized and organized digital environment.

For BPE / NCMF

To provide a centralized dashboard for monitoring national registration data, generating reports, and strengthening policy planning and implementation.

For Overall Governance

To promote transparency, data integrity, accountability, and improved service delivery in every stage of the Hajj process.

Core Features of the eHajj Concept

Digital Registration

Secure online registration of pilgrims with structured data fields and document tracking.

Applicant Dashboard

Each registered pilgrim is provided a personal dashboard showing profile, status, SOA, and visa updates.

Administrative Oversight

HRPC and BPE staff can manage records, review applications, and update statuses in real-time.

Reporting & Analytics

Built-in capability for data summaries, statistics, and planning insights at regional and national levels.

Guiding Values

The design and implementation of the eHajj System are inspired by both governance principles and Islamic values:

Transparency

Clear, traceable, and accountable handling of information and processes

Service to the Ummah

Technology used as a means of helping fellow Muslims fulfill a sacred obligation

Integrity & Trust

Respect for data privacy, honesty in administration, and faith-based responsibility

Demonstration Purpose

This website is a demonstration version developed to support consultation, planning, and technical discussion regarding the future modernization of the Hajj system in the Philippines. It is not yet an official government registration platform for public use.

Prepared in support of the digital transformation vision of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
